Legislation Gains More Support
The
Fairness In Competition Bill (A2162) continues to gain momentum as two
more Members of the Assembly have added their names as sponsors of the
bill - Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski (D, Rockland) from Section I and
Assemblywoman Earline Hooper (D, Nassau) from Section VIII. They join
the bill's prime sponsor Assemblyman Joe Morelle (Monroe, Section V) and
co-sponsors Assemblyman Paul Tokasz (D, Erie - Section VI), the
Majority Leader of the NYS Assembly; Assemblyman Steve Sanders, Chairman
of the Education Committee; Assemblywoman Roann Destito (D, Oneida -
Section III); Assemblywoman Francine DelMonte (D, Niagara - Section VI);
Assemblyman Harvey Weisenberg (D, Nassau - Section VIII); Assemblywoman
Ginny Fields D, Suffolk - Section XI); Assemblymen Felix Ortiz, Frank
Sedio, Darryl Towns and Assemblywomen Annette Robinson, Diane Gordon,
and Audrey Pheffer (NYC - PSAL).
