The Executive Committee has appointed Richard Farfaglia as its first Executive Director in its 30-year history to help in marketing and promoting high school wrestling in New York State.

In announcing the appointment President Rich Romeo expressed,  “Dick, whose career path has experience in Communications and marketing in both the private and public sector, as well as his experience and background in wrestling makes him the ideal candidate to move our Association forward. We look forward working with him helping us to develop the Association basic needs of communication and organization of its programs”.

The initial focus will be to take a leadership role in organizing a State Association Coaches Clinic next fall and implementing and selling NYSWCA Multi-Level Entries Proposal to the NYSPHSAA beginning with the 2006-2007 season.

The New York State Coaches Association will be holding its annual meeting on Friday, February 27, 2004 at the New York State Championships in Buffalo.  Make plans to attend and help us to grow!
